It increases the speed and strength of tissue repair and reduces swelling and pain significantly. This is what’s said to cause the smoker to crave smoking less. But as of now, no evidence to such exists. There are also clinics claiming cold laser therapy can help deal with hypertension, cerebral palsy, herpes, migraine headaches, etc. Be wary when choosing which hospital you should go for as some of them use only LED and not the laser.
